Tina Firouzbakht, MD, treats adults with abnormal heart rhythms. Dr. Firouzbakht has experience with many different treatment options depending on your current medical condition and lifelong health goals. Patients can regain a regular heartbeat through ablations for supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Firouzbakht began her studies at University of Texas at Arlington where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology. She then graduated from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston with her Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Firouzbakht’s internship, internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship were all completed here in Shreveport at LSU Health Sciences Center. She served as chief fellow. At Mayo Clinic Arizona she received training to become a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Firouzbakht spends time with her family and friends.
